NEW BATAAN, DDO - The newly-elected officers of Youth for Peace Movement (YFPM) Maragusan, together with their fellow officers from New Bataan Chapter and Barangay Cluster of Pantukan (Tagugpo, Las Arenas, Araibo), took part in a Courtesy Call with Ltc. Roman S. Mabborang, Commander of 66th Infantry Battalion (IB), on January 19, 2020, held at the 66IB Kabalikat Hall here.

The Maragusan officers were able to present themselves, their organization's goals, and their proposed activities for the rest of 2020.

In his message, Ltc. Mabborang recommended to the peace advocates to push through the Barangay-based Youth Peace Camps this year.

This was also agreed by the YFPM officers as the said activity has created a huge impact during the previous year, especially in conflict-affected areas where the youth are most vulnerable.

Meanwhile, the YFPM Maragusan Officers are looking forward to a stronger partnership with the 66IB to successfully implement their upcoming activities for youth empowerment.
