YFPM Mabini Gathers, Awards Exemplary Volunteers


MABINI, DDO - As it sustained half a decade of serving the municipality of Mabini by forwarding various peace-building activities to empower the youth sector, the Youth for Peace Movement Mabini Chapter welcomed the new year by conducting its 3rd Panagtapok ug Pakighimamat cum Gawad Karangalan sa Limang Natatanging Wagi (KALINAW) on January 12, 2020, at the Zamayla Private Beach Resort in Mampising, Tagnanan here.

The third reunion of the organization was able to gather some of its senior and junior volunteers who graduated from the municipality's Youth Leadership Summit (YLS) from 2014 to 2019.

Present also during the activity were some of YFPM Mabini's guests such as the Peace Communication Committee Coordinator of YFPM Comval, Ms. Ronabelle M. Festin, Sangguniang Bayan ng Mabini Member, Hon. Geraldine Maquidato, Vice Mayor Halima B. Muñoz, and President of Youth for Peace and Development Movement Philippines, Mr. Alexis H. Micutuan.


They were able to encourage the Peace Advocates to continue the advocacy and inspire others through their good and purposeful deeds.

Part of the program's highlights was the awarding of YFPM Mabini's volunteers who have greatly contributed to their organization's success, through the 1st Municipal Gawad KALINAW para sa Dakilang Pinuno and Kasapi.


The awardees for Dakilang Kasapi are: Ms. Danyllene Sandulan, Mr. Jiffrel Garsuta, Mr. Carl Pajaron, Ms. Hazel Elaine Versuela, and Ms. Mechelle Namoc

The awardees for Dakilang Pinuno are: Mr. Joshua Suficiencia, Mr. Ronimark Buntag, Dearfe Loreno, Mr. Jess Elton Largado, and Mr. Noel Sungay

Likewise, the previous Presidents of the organization such as Mr. Alexis Micutuan, Mr. Rey Isagani Laorden, and Ms. Cristy Fannie Bonoton, were also given the same recognition for their contribution to the success of the organization.
