SHE, WHO CAN.

We often just walk pass by her. We know everything that she does. We expect her to always be right there. We laugh, cry, she was there when we're in pain, we even got angry at her. We don't like it everytime she's right. All of those things made her extraordinary.

She's a sister, a daughter, a wife, a friend. She can also be a doctor everytime you're sick, an accountant who knows how to balance your family income, a mechanic and plumber in times when your father's not home, a food analyst who criticize the food you eat, a "mayordoma" who always boast at you everytime you don't do your house chores, a chef with the use of her magical cooking skills, and always a kontrabida in anything you wanted to buy. But in everything you love to do she was always there to support you, she was always a home to you, with her warm hugs and real love. She was a mother.

An ocean-like person, that has many things to be discovered yet. She was vast and deep, just like the love that she gave us. How I wish I was as confident and strong as she was, a woman full of surprises. Unimaginably amazing, that in everything she does, if it fails she knows well how to cope. Indeed, a bundle of wisdom and strength.

To all the mothers out there striving and fighting, giving and loving, worth it and compassionate. We thank you for everything, for the love, for making our everydays special, for supporting us, for the discipline, for the advice, for crying when we cry, and for laughing when we laugh. You accepted and supported what we do despite that it's not according to your plan. You were the one who makes us feel beautiful at our worst and celebrates with us at our best.

Mama, mommy, nanay, ina, my, lola, meemaw, mamita, mother, thank you. We love you.

From the heart of YFPM Davao de Oro, Happy mother's day! ❤️
