YFPM Montevista Initiates Free Meals Distribution to Frontliners

MONTEVISTA, DDO
- As the fight against COVID-19 continues, the people better know as "Frontliners" who are leading the fight also continue their job to defeat the enemy.

On May 26, 2020, the Youth for Peace Movement Montevista Chapter, as this season's "Youth for Bio-safety," has initiated a distribution of free meals for the volunteers and frontliners in select areas within the Municipality.

According to Lorie Jean Hiyas, President of YFPM Montevista, the activity was their "way of showing gratitude to the dedication of the brave Frontliners to ease the present condition of our communities under the state of public health emergency."

The event was also supported by the Sangguniang Kabataan Barangay Banagbanag headed by Hon. Efraim Lumahang, the Barangay Officials of said Barangay headed by Alex Antibo, and the Bahalla family, Tagadiad family, Silagan family, Pojadas family, and Cruza family who made the event possible.

"We may be Physically Distant, but our hearts that help us to keep on fighting, made us seemed to be closer to each other as we choose to show compassion to humanity," Hiyas added.
