Youth Group-Community seals partnership for 'Balik Eskwela' Project

MONTEVISTA, Davao de Oro - The Youth for Peace Movement Montevista attended a meeting together with the Barangay Captain, Benjamin Mahumas and SK Chairman Marvin Tumamak, at Barangay New Calape, Montevista, Davao de Oro. August 30, 2020.

During the engagement, YFPM Montevista President Lorie Jean Hiyas presented their upcoming A Peace of Happiness: BALIK ESKWELA WAVE II project, which aims to aid the educational needs of less fortunate students in the said community, in line with the upcoming opening of classess.

During the meeting, safety health protocols such as social distancing and wearing of face masks in public were also tackled to be strictly be observed, especially by the youth volunteers and beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, the summed-up plans and discussions were agreed upon and the involvement of the beneficiary Barangay has been assured.
